Works of art and original furnishings mingle with elegant fabrics and fine materials, creating a living, exciting space where everything is part of a cohesive, evocative whole. In the background, Art in Art, a unique, extraordinary view appears. The majesty of the mountains and the hieraticity of the Matterhorn burst forth forcefully from the wall-to-wall windows surrounding the penthouse.

Up here, living in art and for art, observing himself and the world, Maestro Gabriele Maquignaz concretised innovative artistic visions and transcended the concept of space, surpassing it, perpetuating it.

Intimate spaces, dedicated to rest, these are the rooms of the Matterhorn Artist's House

Crossed the threshold, the entrance welcomes and envelops, architecturally recreating the suggestion of the cultural journey one is about to make. Specially arranged spotlights create a beautiful lighting effect that accompanies the walk... and the magic is immediately served.

Finally, a second, spacious bathroom with wall-mounted shower is located in this area. Here, too, attention to detail and personal style are transformed into an opportunity for creativity: wood, ceramics, steel and resin come together in a harmonious blend.

Dreamer's room: double room with Matterhorn view

It is almost a work of art in this bedroom where wood and precious fabrics enhance the whole room. Distinctive features that give the room character are the leather headboard of the bed, the alabaster bedside tables, and the choice of colourful artwork that unfailingly excites. Room facilities: walk-in wardrobe, satellite TV, private bathroom with bathtub.

Cocoon room: double room with Matterhorn view

In a fairy-tale aura, this room is designed to welcome and cuddle, as in a cocoon, the little ones. Here too, the choice of fabrics is the fil rouge that holds all the furnishings together harmoniously.

Magic box room: double room

The ambience of this room is developed vertically in an amusing interlocking of overlapping niches, linked by wooden ladders perfectly integrated into the volumes. A dynamic effect is created which, in an optical crescendo, goes from the first single bed to the second bed placed in the niche. Climbing further up, in a metaphorical ascent, the last niche is the custodian of a work by Maestro Maquignaz. The silver of the bedheads, the bedspreads and the multi-coloured cushions enliven the room.

A Penthouse of Light and Design: Peace, Harmony and Luxury

Walking up the helicoidal wooden staircase, illuminated by warm LED step markers, one reaches the magnificent penthouse. Here, the natural light coming in through the large wall-to-wall windows seems to break down the boundary between outside and inside. It is the ideal place to find peace and balance. In the centre, a large fabric sofa dominates under the pyramid dormer, the centrepiece of the room. The colour palette of the furniture, the unique artwork and design pieces are a joy to behold. A designer fireplace, a mega-screen TV and an alabaster desk complete the ambience.

The kitchen is also the result of meticulous organisation of space. Secluded, it loses its multifunctional connotation and gathers demurely, not blending in with the whole. Arranged on three sides, almost merging into the wooden walls, it is complete with all accessories: hob, microwave oven, ventilated oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, crockery.

A large marble table with velvet chairs was placed next to the kitchen.

A triumph of sun and relaxation: 200 square metres of equipped solarium (sun loungers/tables) directly accessible from the penthouse. For those travelling with pets, the solarium has a 10 m² wooden kennel.
